“On October 7, 2001, our family
was visited by the day all pet owners dread. Our little Shih Tzu, Bumper,
went to heaven. He left behind his human family and a Lhasa Apso sister,
Eclipse. We humans cried and talked of our grief. Eclipse was left to her
own devices. She began sleeping in odd places and chewing up draperies.
She was constantly at my side, looking at me or pawing at my leg. Not only
had we lost Bumper, but Eclipse was no longer the independent, fun-loving
dog we had known for ten years. The best I could do was share my pain with
her which was heart breaking for both of us.
As is often the case, the universe presented Kris to me when I was desperate
for help with Eclipse. The hope that Eclipse was going to improve with time
was not materializing. Kris spent a long time with Eclipse and me asking
many thought provoking questions. She had a very clear picture of the dog
Eclipse had been before our loss. When Kris called with her Bach Flower
Essence recommendations, she made it clear that the treatment plan would
be determined by our collaboration. My intuitive input was as important
to her as her research. I started Eclipse on her Essences immediately.
When Kris followed up with us in two weeks, I was amazed to realize that
I had to ask her to refresh my memory about Eclipse’s issues. Her
recovery was fast, yet subtle. Kris has continued to check on Eclipse on
a regular basis and occasionally makes further suggestions; not only of
Bach Flower Essences but other things we might try to improve our doggie’s
life. I am so grateful, not only for the respect Kris has shown for our
four-legged family, but also for the friend and advisor she has become to
me.”
